Isaiah 55:9 says “For as heaven is higher than earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” We see in this passage God’s declaration regarding how we should regard our thoughts, plans, and desires in comparison to His. We often think we know what is best and try to dismiss God’s way. However, when we do this, the result is never anything good for us in the long-run.
