An acronym for one of Paul’s most memorable sayings, “to Live is Christ, and to Die is Gain” (Philippians 1:21). Paul was a diligent follower of Jesus Christ and possessed an amazing perspective that Christians should all strive for. Although most view death as something to dread, Paul recognized that in reality it was something that would be very beneficial for him. He eagerly awaited death because he longed for his heavenly home with Jesus Christ. He acknowledged, however, that it was better for the cause of Christ if he continued to live here on earth, as he was zealously spreading the Gospel. Can we say the same thing? Is our living to the benefit of Christ and our death gain to us? #ThanksforAsking!
